Top cities in the U.S. where air pollution is the most dangerous

Since we are talking pollution, it would be wise to point out the cities around the U.S. where the air is the most dangerous to breathe. California’s cities top the list significantly. Climate change or ‘global warming’ is likely to be the blame for worsening air quality. Prolonged spurts of heat make it easier for ozone pollution to take place. An example of this is the raging wild fires in California. Wildfires or the burning of organic material emits PM2.5 (very tiny particles) into the atmosphere which also contributes to air pollution.

The American Lung Association created a list of metropolitan areas where at least 50,000 people live within a cluster. These are the areas where air is the most dangerous to breath.
